Learning begins at birth, trust, acceptance, love.  Reading to a child three times a day increases their vocabulary as well as the desire to read and advance with "26% of children who were read to three or four times in the last week by a family member recognized all letters of the alphabet. This is compared to 14% of children who were read to less frequently.

According to NCES2, only 53% of children ages three to five were read to daily by a family member (1999). Children in families with incomes below the poverty line are less likely to be read to aloud every day than are children in families with incomes at or above poverty."

These are just a few of the curriculum resources Megan's Munchkins uses.

Interactive-Learning© is done by using multiple domains and tools.  This type of learning often includes small groups of children engaged in one activity.  This is a hands-on approach that includes adult guidance, inside and or outside environments.  This does not include regular screen time, structured adult let activities.

My philosophy includes making quality education available for the children in our community.  This means preschool is included in our full day of learning.  Your child will benefit from the learning, love and enriching environment we provide at Megan's Munchkins.
